INDIBA Therapy at PhysioB

INDIBA is a non-invasive radiofrequency treatment and a branded form of TECAR therapy (Transfer of Energy Capacitive and Resistive). It may help relieve pain and ease muscle tension and stiffness, making movement more comfortable during rehabilitation. At PhysioB, we may use it as part of a personalised treatment plan for selected muscle, joint and tendon problems, sports injuries, or recovery after surgery.

During treatment, a conductive cream is applied and a smooth applicator is moved across your skin. Depending on the settings, you may feel gentle, controlled warmth or very little warmth at all. Your physiotherapist adjusts the treatment to suit your symptoms, stage of recovery and comfort.

At PhysioB, we begin with an assessment of your symptoms, movement and medical history to determine whether INDIBA is suitable for you. Treatment may be combined with hands-on physiotherapy, mobility exercises and progressive strengthening. The overall rehabilitation programme aims to improve movement, build strength and support your return to everyday activities, work or sport.

The number of sessions depends on your needs and response to treatment. We review your progress regularly and adapt your plan as your rehabilitation progresses.

Before your appointment

What happens at the first visit?

You will discuss your symptoms, their history and your goals. Your physiotherapist will assess you and discuss a plan with you. Treatment is selected according to your individual circumstances.

What should I bring?

Bring relevant medical documents and details of previous treatment. If you are unsure which session length to choose, ask before arranging a visit.

How many visits will I need?

Your plan depends on the assessment, your goals and progress. The name of a condition alone does not determine a fixed number of visits.

Jurate Laurinonyte

A true professional. Very happy to find him. My case was difficult, but after a month of treatments I could enjoy my long waited vacation! Great knowlegde and skills in different physiotherapy treatments, massage, exercises. Excellent communication. Very convenient location, just under 10min from the train station. Can recommend not only to those who are injured, but also who want to keep their fitness.

Andrea Miller

Bart is an excellent physiotherapist. He is an expert and is very good at explaining the root causes of conditions and what can be done to rectify them, taking a thorough, scientific approach. He uses many different techniques in his treatment, including physical training and technological treatments such as ultrasound. Bart is exceptionally good and intuitive at sports massage, it is incredible how he can find out so much about your condition and do so much to alleviate symptoms. Highly recommended.

Stanislaw Pstrokonski

Fantastic physio. Very knowledgeable and hardworking. You will have trouble finding a physio who knows half as much as Bartek about the human body. Goes straight to the root of the problem, where other physios I have tried tend to be more superficial.I saw a lot of improvement with him very quickly. Highly recommended.

David Franco

With just two sessions he has managed to alleviate the discomfort that I have had since the last marathon I did, I am in the process of returning to normal, it is a shame that I have to leave for another city, 100% recommended not only for his professionalism but also for his knowledge.

Karol Watroba

Absolutely the best physiotherapist in London. If 7 stars would be an option I would give him without question as 5 is not enough. Firstly released me from pain, then trained me for the pain to never come back.Physiotherapy with training is a permanent solution.

Chris G

PhysioB is the place to find an amazing combination of physiotherapy, fitness training, massage, electro-therapy, challenges and fun. I've never felt particularly comfortable in a gym but with Bart's help I've been able to sustain continuous training for nearly four years. Highly recommended for treatment and training.

Jess Capello Mathews

Bart has been instrumental in diagnosing my musculoskeletal issues - after 2 years of mutiple scans and specialists who couldn't work it out. Though issues are likely with me for life, Bart has gone above and beyond to help find a way to support and stregthen my body - highly recommend.
