Shock Wave Therapy

Shock Wave Therapy is a cutting-edge, non-invasive medical treatment that uses acoustic waves to deliver high energy to painful spots by targeting musculoskeletal tissue. At PhysioB we offer this treatment to promote regeneration and repair of bones, tendons, and other soft tissues. The therapy works by enhancing blood circulation and metabolism in the affected area, breaking down fibrous tissue, and reducing inflammation. This leads to pain relief, increased mobility, and accelerated healing. At PhysioB we usually recommend a course of at least 3 to 6 sessions of this advanced therapy. It offers a compelling option for patients seeking alternatives to more invasive treatments with medication or even surgery.

Major injuries and conditions treated with shock wave therapy at PhysioB include:

  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow)
  • Medial epicondylitis (golfer’s elbow)
  • Achilles tendinopathy
  • Shoulder tendinitis and calcification
  • Patellar tendinopathy (jumper’s knee)
  • Shin splints
  • Stress fractures

Jurate Laurinonyte

A true professional. Very happy to find him. My case was difficult, but after a month of treatments I could enjoy my long waited vacation! Great knowlegde and skills in different physiotherapy treatments, massage, exercises. Excellent communication. Very convenient location, just under 10min from the train station. Can recommend not only to those who are injured, but also who want to keep their fitness.

Andrea Miller

Bart is an excellent physiotherapist. He is an expert and is very good at explaining the root causes of conditions and what can be done to rectify them, taking a thorough, scientific approach. He uses many different techniques in his treatment, including physical training and technological treatments such as ultrasound. Bart is exceptionally good and intuitive at sports massage, it is incredible how he can find out so much about your condition and do so much to alleviate symptoms. Highly recommended.

Stanislaw Pstrokonski

Fantastic physio. Very knowledgeable and hardworking. You will have trouble finding a physio who knows half as much as Bartek about the human body. Goes straight to the root of the problem, where other physios I have tried tend to be more superficial.I saw a lot of improvement with him very quickly. Highly recommended.

David Franco

With just two sessions he has managed to alleviate the discomfort that I have had since the last marathon I did, I am in the process of returning to normal, it is a shame that I have to leave for another city, 100% recommended not only for his professionalism but also for his knowledge.

Karol Watroba

Absolutely the best physiotherapist in London. If 7 stars would be an option I would give him without question as 5 is not enough. Firstly released me from pain, then trained me for the pain to never come back.Physiotherapy with training is a permanent solution.

Chris G

PhysioB is the place to find an amazing combination of physiotherapy, fitness training, massage, electro-therapy, challenges and fun. I've never felt particularly comfortable in a gym but with Bart's help I've been able to sustain continuous training for nearly four years. Highly recommended for treatment and training.

Jess Capello Mathews

Bart has been instrumental in diagnosing my musculoskeletal issues - after 2 years of mutiple scans and specialists who couldn't work it out. Though issues are likely with me for life, Bart has gone above and beyond to help find a way to support and stregthen my body - highly recommend.
