How we can help

Common reasons to get in touch

  • Hand, wrist, elbow or shoulder discomfort during bag or pad work
  • Pain that affects footwork, turning or conditioning exercises
  • Planning a return to training after a muscle or joint injury

Another concern? Ask us whether we can help.

At PhysioB, we look at your symptoms, movement and daily activities to understand what may be contributing, then agree a plan with you.

  1. Initial assessment

We discuss your symptoms, assess movement and establish your goals.

  2. Custom treatment plan

Your assessment and everyday needs guide the approach we agree together.

  3. Progress tracking

We review how you are responding and adjust your plan when needed.

Your physiotherapy assessment

Tell us which parts of training you do, from non-contact drills and bag work to sparring. We assess the movements that trouble you and discuss your previous injuries, current activity and goals. This gives us a starting point for a rehabilitation plan that reflects your training, with medical referral where needed.

Your assessment is the starting point for an individual plan. You do not need to choose a treatment yourself - we’ll discuss the options at your visit.

What to discuss at your assessment

  • How symptoms started, including any specific impact or fall
  • Which punches, positions or footwork drills feel difficult
  • Your mix of bag work, pads, sparring and conditioning, and any recent changes
  • Previous injuries, current medical advice and any restrictions on training
  • The activities you want to resume and questions about your rehabilitation

Before your appointment

What happens at the first visit?

You will discuss your symptoms, their history and your goals. Your physiotherapist will assess you and discuss a plan with you. Treatment is selected according to your individual circumstances.

What should I bring?

Bring relevant medical documents and details of previous treatment. If you are unsure which session length to choose, ask before arranging a visit.

How many visits will I need?

Your plan depends on the assessment, your goals and progress. The name of a condition alone does not determine a fixed number of visits.
